The Magical Theraflu!!!

Well, my last post was about getting sick but in this post, I'm happy to announce that I'm well again after taking a friend's advise! Mark recommended Theraflu and it helped to cure my flu and fever with just one dose of it! It's a packet of the medication mixed with natural apple cinnamon flavor. Just add a cup of hot water to it and drink it. But this flavor didn't taste very good.



Tomorrow, I've got to attend a Guest Services Training for my part time job at 2:00pm. Oh, for those who don't know, they raised the minimum wage throughout the United States from $5.15 to $5.85 an hour! woohoo! but I actually get paid a little more than that. So hopefully at the training, they'll let us know how much pay raise we'll be getting! hehehe!

After that at 4:00pm, I have another gathering at the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM). We have a new BSM director and he wants to meet all of us and we'll have fellowship and dinner together. His name is Chris and he's an American missionary who went to serve in Turkey. But they got him to come back the United States to help out at our BSM. So tomorrow, we'll be meeting him and his wife. It's gonna be a busy day tomorrow and it's a good thing I'm not sick anymore...thank God!

Ah-choo!

Oh great! I fell sick during my finals exam because it was freezing cold in the classroom and I was in there for 2 hours and 45 minutes! So today's the first day of my holidays (finally!!!) but I'm stuck with a cold and flu...sigh... Hopefully I'll get better soon so I can enjoy my well-deserved holidays!

Not in the mood to blog now because I'm feeling feverish...one sickness after another...sigh...

Sizzling HOT Summer!

It is currently 102°F (39°C) right now. Even with the air-conditioner turned on, it’s still hot, hot, hot!!! Thank God it’s not humid here though… Just the heat…

On a brighter note, it’s 4th of July tomorrow in the States and it’s the American Independence Day! So we get a day off from school! Yippie! Today felt like a Friday in school because of the day off tomorrow. Our group study session ended early today because people were in the mood to celebrate and go party. Not me because I have two exams coming up:

July 6th: CLEP History of the United States II: 1865 to the Present
(CLEP: College-Level Examination Program… this is a self-study program so that we need not go for lectures and all. It’s a shortcut and a much cheaper way to get credit for a class.)

July 9th: Electromagnetic Field Theory (2nd Exam)
