Choices...

Agenda for May 6th:

Option 1:
Carrie Underwood Concert

Option 2:
Stay home and study (unfortunately, it's finals week)...

Option 3:
Enjoy my birthday

Needless to say, I think the wisest choice would be to Option 2... sigh... It's not much fun when you have exams on your birthday... Can't wait till I graduate and not have exams on my birthday anymore!

GONG HEE FATT CHOY!

To everyone celebrating Chinese New Year in Malaysia!!! Hope ya'll collect banyak angpow (and maybe share some with me? hehe!) Have a great time with your family and friends!

As for me, unfortunately we don't get a holiday here in the US :( But we are planning to have a CNY party this Saturday. We're inviting some church friends over to our house and we'll be cooking some Chinese dishes! Yay! I'm really looking forward to that!

HORSEBACK RIDING = AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Just so you know I'm still alive and well here in the United States, here's a couple of latest pictures I took while I was at a Youth Camp in Prude Ranch located in Fort Davis, Texas. Sadly, I am no longer considered a youth anymore. So I went there as an adult sponsor for the youth (kinda like their guardian, I guess...). But I really had a blast as it was my first time horseback riding. We went up on the mountain trail for an hour even though it was my first time horseback riding. I had to handle the horse by myself, ok? They just gave us some instructions and showed us how to hold the rein, stop the horse and other simple steps. It was a great experience and I would love to do it again!

All the horses at Prude Ranch

Me and my horse, Brown Jug!

I've also gone to other places during the past 3 months I disappeared from the "blogging world". I've just been so busy, man! Will try to update more often, if possible :) That's all for now!

BSM Fall Retreat 2007 at Glorieta, NM

Last weekend, I made a last-minute decision to go for the fall retreat at Glorieta, New Mexico. We stayed in the cabin owned by First Baptist Church, El Paso. They were real nice because they allowed us to use for free! It was a really good trip because I got to spend some time away from school and all... It's been a stressful semester and it's time for a short break! We had so much fun together and most importantly, I got to spend some quality time focusing on God. Enough said, here's some pictures from the trip!!!

There were 4 bedrooms with bunk beds (bathrooms in each room), a kitchen and a living room in the cabin.

Majestic view in front of the cabin! Isn't it gorgeous???

The fall colored trees...

More trees...

The Glorieta Conference Center and the beautiful pond!

A short visit to Santa Fe, New Mexico. That's Jonya and her husband, Chris (who is the BSM director).

Jonya and I inside one of the malls in Santa Fe... (Don't worry, I only bought some cold medicine there...didn't shop for clothes and other stuff...)

Jonya and I under this lovely tree in Santa Fe! Ain't it pretty???

A group picture of all of us who went for the retreat!
