When Tragedy Strikes...

My deeepest condolences goes out to all the family members, friends, students, and faculty staff at Virginia Tech. May they find God's peace and comfort as they deal with this tragic incident. Even though I have a test tomorrow, but I can't help but to blog about the latest tragedy here in the States. It's the deadliest U.S. shooting massacre in history. We are all shocked and saddened by this incident. Even the security at our campus here has been tightened, and the police cars have been patrolling around our campus since yesterday.

Personally, I cannot understand why on earth would someone do such a terrible thing to their peers and professors. As a Uni student myself, I know how stressful life is but killing dozens of people is totally insane and outrageous! I'm also dissapointed that the school officials only sent out emails to warn students when the first shooting took place intead of evacuating the Uni. Can you imagine classes continued as usual in the morning when something major like that happened? Two hours later, the second attack took the lives of more people shot by the cold-blooded gunman. This incident is a reminder that Satan is indeed at work!

When tragedy strikes, we need to stay strong and remain faithful in God. We also need to pray daily for God's protection and grace. Nobody is safe anywhere nowadays, not even in schools, Uni, etc... May God bless us all especially those who are mourning the lost of their loved ones, and may the innocent lives that were lost in this tragedy rest in peace.
